Her recent outings include Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, Suriya’s Vishwanath & Sons and Nivin Pauly’s Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, with the latter reportedly grossing over ₹305 crore worldwide. Naturally, every new project featuring the young actress is attracting considerable attention, and her next release is Irandu Vaanam. The Tamil romantic drama stars Vishnu Vishal and Mamitha Baiju in the lead and is directed by Ram Kumar, marking his third collaboration with Vishnu Vishal after Mundasupatti and Ratsasan. The film is produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan under Sathya Jyothi Films, with music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas.
Irandu Vaanam Locks October Release
The makers have now officially announced that Irandu Vaanam will hit theatres worldwide on October 23, 2026. The film completed its shoot in June 2025 and has been kept under wraps, with the makers revealing very little about the actual story. The title translates to “Two Skies”, while the intriguing first-look poster showed Vishnu Vishal and Mamitha Baiju seated on clouds on opposite sides. A promotional video accompanying the release-date announcement hints at an intense love story tested by a major tragedy, adding a mysterious layer to the romantic drama. The technical crew includes cinematographer Dinesh K Babu, editor San Lokesh, art director Gopi Anand and stunt choreographer Vicky.
Mamitha Baiju’s Other Upcoming Films
Meanwhile, Mamitha Baiju has several interesting projects lined up across Tamil and Malayalam cinema. She is part of Gireesh A D’s Premalu 2, the sequel to the 2024 Malayalam blockbuster, and is also associated with an upcoming Tamil project featuring Pradeep Ranganathan. Reports have additionally linked her to Soori’s next film, tentatively titled Soori 07, though her involvement has not yet been officially confirmed. With Irandu Vaanam now locking its October release, the actress has another promising project arriving at a time when her career is attracting attention across multiple South Indian industries.
